Download and adapt our model policy 

Our model policy has been approved by Forbes Solicitors, and helps you set out your approach to premises management, including risk assessments and monitoring arrangements. It works in conjunction with our model health and safety policy and the risk assessments that your school must hold.

You're not required to have a dedicated premises management policy, but you do need to have premises management documents.

You may incorporate duties relevant to safe premises management and statutory testing into your health and safety policies and/or risk assessments, but you may also decide to use a premises management policy to set out your approach.
